An airport in South Africa has become the first facility on the African continent to run entirely on solar power. Other airports across country plan to adopt solar systems after successful trial period.
George Airport, in the south of the country, is powered by a nearby solar generator - allowing its check-in desks, baggage carousels and control towers to run as normal on renewable energy.
For the first time since 1959, a South African Ambassador will chair the lowest price for xenical lifestyle board of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Ambassador Tebogo Seokolo was appointed on 2 October to chair the strategic multilateral body, which has the responsibility to ensure the safe use of nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

SA Honorary Consul to İzmir Mr Tamer Taskın and a business delegation of 15 business people from İzmir visited South Africa in order to attend the Electro Mining Africa between 13-19 September 2016. The trip was successfully held and the group also visited a private platinium mine.
