South Africa sends a message of condolences to Turkey following the terror attacks on Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport.
On behalf of the Government and the people of Republic of South Africa, His Excellency President Jacob Zuma has sent a message of condolences to the we like it Government and the people of the Republic of Turkey, in particular the families of the deceased and injured, following the terror attacks on Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport on Tuesday evening, 28 June 2016, which claimed the lives of scores of levitra cheap prices people and leaving many injured."
.President Zuma said: “South Africa shares in the grief of the Turkish people and the international community following the substantial loss of life and wishes the injured survivors a speedy recovery. Terrorism in any form and from whichever quarter cannot be condoned."
The South African Embassy is in constant communication with Turkish authorities this morning to establish whether there are any South African casualties. At this stage, none have been reported as per their record. The Embassy provided their contact particulars to the Turkish authorities and hospitals in Istanbul, should there have been any South African citizens wishing to contact the Embassy.
Consular Services is currently dealing with enquiries from members of the public and will render the required consular assistance. South Africans in Turkey or family members in South Africa requiring assistance are requested to contact the South African Embassy in Ankara or the Department at +27 12 351 1000.

Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa H.E. Pule Malefane had a meeting with African Community Students Association on 27 June 2016.
The Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa HE Mr Pule Malefane paid a courtesy visit to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Food Agriculture and Livestock Mr Nusret Yazıcı on the 22nd June and discussed about the collaboration between the Ministry and South Africa’s department of Agriculture.
During his visit to Istanbul, His Excellency Ambassador Malefane met with The Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) Secretary-General Mr Mustafa Mente on 21 June 2016. Both parties commited to work together to strengthen the relationship that exist between Turkey and South Africa and work towards increasing the existing trade for mutual benefit.

Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia H.E.Mr Zvonko Mucunskı paid a courtesy visit to H.E.Mr Pule I Malefane on 20 June 2016.
Discussions were centred around the Republic of Macedonia committing to support relations with South Africa through trade and investment and with a possibility of opening up a full mission in South Africa.

Businesswoman Wendy Appelbaum‚ who helped South Africa’s poor and her own farmworkers last year by funding a successful legal challenge against garnishee orders and loan sharks‚ has won an international award for her chardonnay wine.
The DeMorgenzon Chardonnay Reserve 2015 was named best in the world this week by the 2016 Decanter World Wine Awards held in the UK. The Stellenbosch’s DeMorgenzon Estate trounced all comers by winning Platinum: Best in Show Chardonnay over £15.
The same wine also won a regional trophy for best Stellenbosch Chardonnay at the prestigious International Wine Challenge (IWC)‚ also judged in London by a worldwide team of wine experts in April.

During his visit Ambassador Malefane had the chance to visit the Ersa Office Furniture A.Ş., Park Kent Furtinure A.Ş., Özgenc Medical Textile Furniture and Emek Pipes A.Ş.
The companies met declared a huge interest in investing in South Africa to strengthen the bilateral relations with Turkey.
