Ambassador Pule Isaac Malefane presented his letter of credence to the President of Turkey, Mr Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on Tuesday 22 March 2016 at the Presidential Complex in Ankara. Ambassador Malefane also had a wreath laying ceremony on 24 March as is traditional when presenting letters of credence to the President,  at the Anitkabir, the monument where founder of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk is buried. Ambassador Malefane previously represented South Africa as the Consul General of South Africa in Mumbai, India.
