Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan received the new Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa with residence in Ankara Pula Isaac Malefane.

The Ambassador conveyed to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan addressed credentials.

After a brief ceremony held talks, during which discussed issues of the bilateral agenda, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry.

The parties confirmed their interest in further enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Republic of South Africa, especially in trade, economic and investment fields. In this context, expressed confidence that the upcoming talks, Ambassador in the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, the Ministry of Economy, National Holding Company "Uzbekneftegaz", Goskomturizme, Commerce and Industry Chamber of Uzbekistan and other structures allow to find common ground and reach concrete joint projects.

The sides also exchanged views on certain issues of international and regional issues.
