Tribute to Hugh Masekela
South African music legend, Hugh Masekela passed away on 23 January 2018 after a long battle with cancer.
Masekela was 78 years old. He has contributed to music, theater and the arts globally and will be remembered for his contribution to music as a legendary jazz player.
The South African Embassy extends its condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. Rest In Peace.
