INFORMATION TO SOUTH AFRICAN CITIZENS IN TURKEY

South African citizens residing in Turkey, please take note of the President of South Africa’s statement on the Covid19 Pandemic. Please further take note that Turkey is not on the list of countries of “high-risk countries” or even the “medium risk countries” with regards to Covid19.

You are advised to take note of the below travel advisory issues by the Department of International Relations.

Please be advised, considering the Covid19 has been declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organisation this has become matter of global severity requiring extra-ordinary measures, as such, the South African Embassy in Ankara, Turkey, is kindly requesting its citizen in Turkey to take note of the below emergency number where a dedicated WhatsApp group will provide South African citizens of the latest information on Covid19.

We plead with those inquiring about Visa’s and other matters not related to Covid19 and that are not an emergency situation to please utilise the normal communication channels.
