Please be informed that the South African Embassy in Ankara will be physically closed to the public from 6 to 10 July 2026, in light of the measures announced by the Governor of Ankara regarding the city’s hosting of the 36th NATO Heads of State Summit - which will include closure of roads, traffic restrictions, and security measures across the city of Ankara.

These measures are expected to significantly affect access to and from the Chancery. In this regard, the Embassy - including the Consular Section - will only be virtually contactable during normal working hours during this period.

The Embassy/Chancery will open and resume normal duties from Monday, 13 July 2026.
